Cassper Explains Why He’s Not Using His Platform To Speak On What’s Happening In The Country! A lot has been happening in South Ah over the past few days. From business being burnt down to unimaginable looting, it has been a sad sight

Whilst the President has addressed the nation on the matter, some public figures have been using their platforms to speak to their fanbases on how the issues can be resolved. One of the rappers who have been vocal is Jub Jub who called out his fellow celebs for not using their platforms to speak up because they are not directly affected. Ironically, for the ones that have spoken up, they have faced backlash from critics who feel they don’t have enough knowledge on current affairs.

Cassper took to twitter Monday night after the President’s address saying a young prayer for the nation. “Yoh. God bless South Africa hleng. My beloved country,” he tweeted. In response, one of his followers asked Cassper what he doing as an influencer of his fanbase to bring some kind of calm. “Be Super Active On This Matter Like You Are On Promoting Ciroc , Samsung , Your Kick,” the fan added.

In response, Cassper didn’t mince his words explaining why he had stayed away from speaking on current affairs saying he was told to focus on what he knows best…selling sneakers. “I was told that I was dumb and I should shut up and sell sneakers. I’m not the enemy here brother but my people don’t see it as that and I would rather not fuel anything. I’m not a president and I don’t have any solutions. The ones who are smarter and wiser should lead,” Cassper explained.

Do you think public figures need to do something to help calm the current unrests?
