Cassper Reacts To SA Music Legend Tshepo Tshola’s Passing! Sad day on top of everything currently happening in the country as South Africa has lost yet another music legend in Tshepo Tshola. According to IOL, the Jazz legend succumbed to complications related to Covid-19 at a hospital in Lesotho on Thursday. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and fans.
Tshepo Tshola was a Jazz music legend with a career spanning over forty years. With a successful career to his name, Tshola also had hit collaborations with fellow South African artists including the late Ray Phiri, Joyous Celebration, Yvonne Chaka-Chaka and recently Cassper Nyovest on his hit single, Superman off Thuto album. Cassper took to twitter reacting to the sad news of ntate Tshepo’s passing with shock. “Ah man. No ways,” he tweeted with a broken heart emoji.
The music legend once spoke about his collaboration with Cassper in an interview saying, “I give my all into my music, my performances, and I’d like to believe that’s what attracts the young and the old. I don’t know if this will be perceived as arrogance, but I also believe I’m genre-free. My collaborations with young people also date back to working with Brenda Fassie, Thebe, and a whole lot of genres. It’s something that has also been fascinating to me.”
Other rappers like Khuli Chana also took to to social media to share their heartbreak over the legend’s passing.
