Check Out The SA Rappers Scheduled To Perform At The SAMAs27! The stage for the 27th annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) is going to be fire and Mzansi hip hop fans are in for a treat as some of the biggest names in the genre will be bringing the heat, with fire performances. The SAMA27 virtual ceremony will be taking place on July 30 and organisers have promised a show to remember.

Hip Hop acts Sjava, Boity, Big Zulu, Riky Rick, Intaba Yase Dubai are slated to perform at the popular award ceremony. These artists have music catalogues that feature some of the biggest tracks in hip hop and not only do they have great music but they are also known to deliver top-class performances.

Big Zulu, Riky Rick and Intaba Yase Dubai will most likely perform their smash hit Imali eningi. The popular song dominated the airwaves and social media as fans jammed to the catchy song. The relatable song is currently sitting on 10 million views on YouTube.

Sjava is no stranger to the SAMA stage, he has previously performed at the awards and has also taken awards home, he has a total of four SAMAs. The popular artist has released new music, on his project Umsebenzi, which has been highly successful and reached over 5 million streams. The award-winning rapper is also up for an award as he has been nominated in the following categories he Best African Adult Contemporary Album and Best Produced Album Of The Year.

Boity is will be performing her biggest hits such as 018’s Finest featuring Maglera Doe Boy and Ginger Trill she also maybe taking home an award, she is nominated for her debut album 4436 in the Best Hip Hop Album category and she is also up for Best Hip Hop.

The performers have not yet shared what fans can expect from their performances but they will certainly not disappoint, especially as this is one of the biggest nights in Mzansi music. The SAMAs virtual ceremony was shoot in a studio during level four lockdown and according to the event’s spokesperson Lesley Mofokeng, viewers will enjoy the performances, “it’s going to be a great night”.
