L-Tido Reacts To The Passing Of Music Legend Steve Kekana! When the entertainment industry loses one of their own, messages of condolences flood timelines across all social media platforms from fellow artists but one rapper who has mastered the art of honoring his fellow artists whilst they are still living is L-Tido. Some of L-Tido’s biggest career hits has SA legends name dropped by the rapper and now of them has passed on.
Back in 2013, L-Tido dropped a single called ‘Steve Kekana from his album ‘All Of Me” which became an instant hit hit and he followed through with a remix which featured Maggz, Ma-E and Cassper Nyovest. As news of the music legend’s passing made headlines Thursday mororning, L-Tido joined in on sending his condolences to the man he had made one his biggest songs about. “#ripstevekekana,” the rapper tweeted along with a snippet from the Steve Kekana remix visuals.
Steve Kekana reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday the 1st of July 2021 after being rushed to hospital. He was 62. According to News24, Kekana’s manager, Xolani told the publication that the singer had tested positive for Covid-19. Our condolences go out to his family and fans.
