BigStar Johnson To Give Fans An Update On His Life With New Music. It’s been a minute since rapper BigStar Johnson gave his fans something to feast on and the rapper seems to have heard his fans cries as he is now gearing up to drop new music. Taking to social media, the rapper shared the good news with his fans and followers that he has something lined up for them to hear and it will also have visuals.

BigStar in his post shared that he would be letting his fans in on what’s been going on in his life and give an update on his state of mind. “Letting yall in on whats really been poppin in my life and my genuine state of mind,” he tweeted. He also revealed the name of the record, Time and said it would be dropping on August 28 on his birthday. “Dropping the visuals for a record called ( TIME ) starring my favourite human being Aaliyah on my birthday this Saturday,” he shared.

BigStar’s post had a snippet of the upcoming visuals, which feature the rapper’s daughter Aaliyah, his favourite human being. The two appear to be on a daddy-daughter ice cream date. The clip may be short but it was enough to tease fans and get them excited for the rapper’s new song. BigStar in his post shared that music has always been where he can speak and feel heard. Many artists often use music as a way to express themselves and BigStar will be doing exactly that with the song.

The rapper last dropped music in 2020 a single called Ye and last dropped a full project, his album Me & Mines in 2018. The rapper reflected on his album on social media about his album when he questioned whether hip hop is driven by the beat or content? BigStar shared with his followers on Twitter, that he was listening to his album and realized that he put out a classic quality album. He however noted that the album didn’t slap as hard as a conventional hip hop album would have been.

“Bumped #MeAndMines yesterday and realized I gave South Africa a classic quality HipHop album . With that being said I can only now say that it didnt slap as hard a conventional HipHop album would,” tweeted the rapper. It may have been a while since BigStar gave his fans music to jam to, he has not stopped working and his new song is proof. The rapper has even tried his hand at presenting, the rapper features as a host on the YouTube show, The Process where he interviews rappers and artists about their creative process when it comes to the music.
