Cassper Responds To Assumptions That He’ll Be ‘Working For AKA’ As The New Host Of The Braai Show
Cassper Responds To Assumptions That He’ll Be ‘Working For AKA’ As The New Host Of The Braai Show. News that Cassper Nyovest will be the host of season two of The Braai Show on SABC 1, has become a trending topic on social media, as fans digest the news. Cassper will be taking over the reigns from rapper, AKA, who owns 50% of the show.
Season two of The Braai Show will be broadcast on SABC 1, as with the first season, which aired on the public broadcaster channel after it’s debut on AKA TV. Rapper AKA’s ownership of the show has sparked reactions from fans with some implying that Cassper is now working for his rival. Cassper is not one to mince his words and has responded to fans who have questions about who his employer is.
As news of Cassper’s new gig trended on social media, one tweep asked an interesting question related to the rappers new job. “Are you trying to say AKA hired Cassper?” asked the tweep in his response to Phil Mphela’s report about the The Braai Show.
Cassper was ready with a response for the question he found to be funny. “Lol.. Does this even make sense when you read it ? CASSPER NYOVEST ? Hired by who? No boys but whatever makes it feel better,” tweeted Cassper who went on to say that he would not be discussing his “business online unless its necessary”.
Responding to another tweep, who also wanted to know whether Cassper is now a Megacy employee or not, Cassper made it clear that he knows exactly who employed him and his paperwork is good. “Lmao.. Ya’ll are delusional. If anything, you should know my paperwork good. My business is good!!! That one is not an opinion, it’s a fact!!! You think I would be finessed after such clean elevation ? Anyway, watch and learn!! #TheBraaiShowWithCass coming to SABC 1 September 8!” tweeted Cassper.
AKA was allegedly not consulted on Cassper taking over the show as the host. In a statement released by the rapper’s legal team it was revealed that the decision for a new host was taken without the show’s co-owner AKA.
“Although not surprised by the opportunism, Mr Forbes does regret the lack of integrity and legal foresight by those who have sought to proceed with this incompetently sanctioned plan. The matter has been with Mr Forbes legal team while a resolution to the impasse was being negititated and will now be solely placed in their control to expedidte legal intervention,” read in part the statement.
