DJ Maphorisa’s Big Dream As He Crosses Over To SA Hip Hop As A Rapper

DJ Maphorisa’s Big Dream As He Crosses Over To SA Hip Hop As A Rapper. Whilst rappers are crossing over to the amapiano wave, DJ Maphorisa seems to be trying something else out and becoming a rapper under his alter ego, Madumane and is causing some serious havoc. His latest verse on the amapiano track Izolo has gone viral with fans applauding him for his great rapping skills.

There is speculation that Madumane is not the one who wrote the viral verse and that in fact rapper, Reason is Madumane’s ghostwriter. However, the award-winning hitmaker is not bothered by the ghostwriter conversation as he is enjoying all the hype around Madumane at the moment.

Radio personality, Rashid Kay retweeted a video clip of the popular verse and said “Dankie @ReasonHD for the ghostwriting” raising speculation that Reason is the man behind the sick bars Madumane is heard spitting. There has been no confirmation or denial from Madumane or Reason about the ghostwriting claims. Vyno Miller who is signed to Maphorisa’s label, commented on Rashid’s post and urged people to “give Madumane his cred” and “stop trying to figure out things that ruin the fun”.

Maphorisa has high hopes for Madumane and is even craving for his name to be included on the list of Mzansi’s all-time best rappers, he also shared that he loves what Madumane is becoming The DJ responded to a tweet that listed the Top 10 SA Best Rappers Of All Time, dead or alive and said “Sbwl one day is one day”. His response indicts that fans will still be hearing Madumane’s dope flow on more songs, he has already shared a snippet of Madumane’s new verse on a yet to be released song.

The producer’s Izolo verse has even been praised by rapper AKA, with him saying “that shit is hard”. In a clip, AKA posted on his Instagram stories, the rapper tries to rap Madumane’s popular verse, which he finds to not be as easy as it seems. This is not the first time AKA has posted about the song he previously shared, a clip of Izolo‘s music video, specifically, Madumane’s part and said “bars”.
