Emtee Explains Why He Hasn’t Done Interviews In A While. Emtee is one of the most loved rappers in South Ah, the trapper has a great relationship with his fans and is always keeping them updated about the moves he is making. However, a fan took to Twitter to share his worry about the rapper as it’s been a minute since he saw the rapper out and about doing gigs or any interviews.
The fan tweeted, “Dear Emtee now I’m worried my Icon why we don’t see you in gigs or TV nd Radio interviews honestly I’m hurt please tel me wassup”. The rapper responded to the fan and gave him an update about why he hasn’t seen him as much in the public space. Emtee shared with the fan, that he has got videos coming soon but explained that he wants to drop them simultaneously. The rapper went on to reveal that at the moment, he is moving at a steady and humble pace.
Most South Ah rappers have not been in the public space, as they used to be, due to the national lockdown which has restricted live events from taking place. As the country opens up more artists have started taking bookings and doing what they love most performing. However, judging from Emtee’s response he is not yet about to performing on stage any time soon.
Emtee may not be performing on stage but he is working hard on his record label, Emtee Records. The rapper currently has one rapper on his roster Lolli Native, who is gearing up to drop his own album. Flash iKumkani recently announced his departure from Emtee Records, the rapper shared that there was no bad blood between them following the departure.
Speaking to Drum, Emtee explained that whilst it has been difficult running an independent record label, he is doing the best that he can. He also shared his future plans for Emtee Records, which include him expanding the business into sports management and even owning a union for creatives. “My dream is to help and discover fresh new talent and I would love to venture into sports management. Maybe sign a few pro athletes to Emtee records as their Media Agency and lastly to own a union for the rights of all creatives in our continent,” he told the publication.
