Maggz Gives An Update As Why He Has Been M.I.A. Rapper Maggz has been quiet on the hip hop streets, for a hot minute now. Maggz last released his own music last year and since then has featured on a few tracks. The rapper’s fans have been craving a musical offering from the rapper for some time. It seems, there is hope that their cravings will be satisfied soon. Maggz has shared a lengthy statement on social media and given his fans a needed update, as to why he has been so quiet on the streets.

Maggz first thanked his followers for being patient with him during his silent period. The rapper explained that during this time he has been trying to figure things out. “First things first. I would like to thank my fans for being so patient whilst I’ve been quiet and trying to figure things out. I know I haven’t been engaging on social media as I possibly could’ve been. In addition, I would also like to thank the same fans for sticking by me no matter what, your love and patience over the years is what has kept me going and for that, I’m truly grateful.” read the statement.

Maggz went on to share with his fans that he is getting ready to return to the music scene with some new heat that he has been working on. He shared that he has been working on a new sound with his team. Maggz explained that the sound is rooted in SA kasi culture and lifestyle, he called the sound Vaito. “I’d like to assure you that I’ve been working behind the scenes, my journey in music is a story still being written and nowhere close to the end.. These past few months have been a journey for my team and I as we’ve embarked on a new voyage, a new sound rooted in Sout African kasi culture and lifestyle, we call it “VAITO”,” continued the statement.

The rapper added that he is looking forward to sharing the new vibes and music with his people. His fans were over the moon with the news and are ready for him to drop and have already asked for him to share potential release dates. South Ah rappers are also happy about Maggz’s return. On Maggz’s Instagram post comments from Kid X, Nadia Nakai, L-Tido and Ms Cosmo could be seen. This is a clear indication that the game is ready for whatever Maggz has up his sleeve and will receive support from his peers.
