Moozlie Reveals Where She Currently Stands With K.O

Moozlie Reveals Where She Currently Stands With K.O. Rapper Moozlie in a recent interview with Ms Cosmo on POPradio gave her fans an update as to how things are with her former label boss, rapper K.O. Moozlie was a part of the original crew that signed to K.O’s record label Cashtime Records. However, the presenter ended up cutting ties with the label in 2016, she is now an independent artist.

During the interview, Ms Cosmo asked the Vatel hitmaker about her relationships with her former label mates. This is where Moozlie revealed that she does not really speak to K.O but this does not mean there are any bad vibes between the two rappers. “I think that with time and also being an independent artist, I’ve come to understand a little bit more about why things happened the way they happened and it wasn’t as malicious and as hard and weird as everybody wanted it to be.”

Moozlie further explained that “I think people just, even us in particular, cause we didn’t have that like everyday conversation kind of a relationship, where a lot of things just got lost in the, he said she said. A lot of things weren’t addressed between the two of us personally at least but I just think that now I’m definitely in a great place, I don’t harbour those feelings anymore. I feel like we good”.

Moozlie did share that if she does see K.O in public it’s all respect and praised the rapper and said that she feels he is definitely one of the architects of the game. “A lot of the stuff I do even now, like musically is built because of the time I spent at Cashtime.” Moozlie also credited her former label for the influence it has had on her career musically. “I think being on the inside, definitely gave me an appreciation for making music for our people,” she shared with Ms Cosmo.

After Moozlie left Cashtime, K.O released a lengthy statement where addressed the departure of the artists from the stable. “Firstly I’d like to take this moment to wish my brother and friend, Kid X, all the best on his journey as an artist and his new 88 King vision. I am super proud of him. I have similar sentiments about Moozlie. I will love and support you guys always!”

In his statement, he also addressed his failures as a leader, “When Moozlie left this year, we – like their fans – were still waiting for Maggz and Kid X to present their albums. They still were not ready. I’ll be the first to admit my leadership in Cashtime Life is not perfect – especially owing to my schedule for the past year-and-a-half – but these are my friends. So it hurts that none of them stand up for me and tell the truth that the delay of their albums dropping has nothing to do with me and everything to do with their own pace.”
