JR Affirms Love To Wife After Finalizing Lobola. It wasn’t going to be a well-decorated festive season without hearing the wedding bells amongst the Mzansi celebrities. This time around, the laurels were to SA Idols Judge and rapper JR.
JR and his wife Tshepi Vundla reportedly wed in a secret ceremony in front of just their families after the rapper paid lobola. JR praised his wife on Instagram and commended her family for welcoming the Bogopas into their household so they could “choose their flower.”
Tshepi Vundla and rapper JR Bogopa have been married for 6 years and have two children: a son, Sibabalwe Lehakwe, and a girl, Liyema Leru Bogopa, born last year in January. In an interview with MacG on Podacst And Chill, JR made it clear that Tshepi was not yet his wife and that people only refer to her as such since they had lived together and had been dating for some time.
“I need to clarify she is not my wife yet. I think it’s very easy for guys to start dating someone for a couple of years and then start calling them their wife,” he said. Mac G then had to had to call it what it is and he said, “so it’s vat ‘n sit,” to which JR reluctantly said “yeah, it’s vat ‘n sit, it’s a loving relationship. You know what I mean? It’s a family,” JR said.
