Zingah Reacts To Getting His 1st Ever Gold Plaque, Releases New Single With Blxckie. Congratulations are in order for rapper Zingah as he has received his first-ever Gold plaque! The young rapper has shared the good news on social media about his first major milestone as an artist. Zingah’s song, Dlala is a certified plaque holder.
Taking to social media Zingah shared several images of him receiving the plaque and in his caption thanked record label, Song Music Africa for believing in him. He also made a special mention to DJ Maphorisa, thanking him for getting him his first ever plaque.
“Thank YOU for supporting ME. Dreams do come true, even those you’re afraid of. Thank God. Thank you to my people ♥️ And thank you to the good folks @sonymusicafrica For believing in me. And MOST IMPORTANTLY thank you to @djmaphorisa for getting me my 1st ever plaque,” he captioned the post.
Zingah worked with hitmaker DJ Maphorisa on Dlala, he produced and co-wrote the song that has a maskandi and hip hip sound to it. The single was released in 2019. On his Instagram post, Zingah was congratulated by individuals such as Scoop Makhathini, Yanga Chief and Kid X, Zulu Mkhathini and Blxckie. Rapper Kid X who was once a part of Cashtime Records with Zingah wrote “SIMELANE! Wow, this is major. Congratulations brazo lam’. You worked tirelessly for this moment. Here’s to many more.”
Receiving the plaque is not the only thing, Zingah is celebrating, he has dropped new music with one of the hottest hip hop acts at the moment, Blxckie. Zingah, aka The Lawd of the Jig, is back with his new single, Ubsantusantu featuring Blxckie available on all digital platforms today. Ubsantusantu sets the scene as the first track off the talented rappers upcoming project, ‘Scamtho Republic’ dropping later this year.
The single sets the tone of the entire project, and the fresh sound from the track is also reflected by the feature with the new kid on the block, Somnyama Omnyama, aka Blxckie. Scamtho Republic is a 12 track album that aims to showcase the rapper evolution, growth over the years and his new sound.
