Cassper Claps Back At Claims He Lied About Gifting Andile Mpisane A Pair Of RF990

Cassper Claps Back At Claims He Lied About Gifting Andile Mpisane A Pair Of RF990. It is often said that a person should not always believe everything that they read online, especially considering how fast rumours are spread on social media. Award-winning SA Hip Hop artist Cassper Nyovest is a big star and is no stranger to his name being used in false narratives. The rapper recently found himself having to correct a story shared by a Twitter user about him gifting a pair of his popular sneaker, the Root of Fame 990 to Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane.

Cassper responded to the initial fake story and made his stance about the claims levelled by the Twitter user known. In his response, Cassper clarified on Twitter that the whole story is a complete lie and shared that he never sent Andile anything, nor did Andile buy any pairs of the sneaker. However, it seems not everyone was convinced by Cassper’s response. One Twitter user even went on to claim that knowing Cassper, the story is most likely true. “Knowing you that story is not a lie. Uya’Spita blind wena,” wrote the tweep.

Mufasa was not having it and issued a very hot clapback reminding the fan not to mess with him. “Where do you know me from? Remind me again,” responded Cassper. The rapper was not about to have his name involved in any funny business and made sure the tweep got the memo with his response. The tweep was clearly in the mood and even defended himself and said that the Andile story is something that is similar to Cassper. “Ngikwazela emhlabeni bafanas. We are not our tweets but wena you are your tweets and that Mpisane story ifana nawe vele,” wrote the tweep.

Andile may have not bought a pair of the popular sneaker but one celebrity who has is Anele Mdoda. The TV and radio personality even has a great review about the sneaker especially following a recent accident she was involved in. Cassper shared that he got a message from Anele, saying that his shoe saved her ankle. “A message from Anele Mdoda yesterday! “My homie, your shoe saved my ankle after a car ran over me yesterday !” She then sent me this picture. Hahaha so there you have it!!! The 990s are saving lives!!!!” shared Cassper. Since the 990s are saving lives, Cassper even joked that maybe the 990s would be the ones to save SA Hip Hop.
