Lucasraps Reflects On Being Booed Off Zone 6 Stage. At times not every artist’s performance goes well. It sometimes happens that a crowd is just not feeling an artist performance. Lucasraps in his interview on myDMs Podcast, on YouTube, revealed the one time, he was unfortunately booed off the stage at Zone 6. Lucasraps told the show’s host Supersonic that he hopes to one day go and perform again at the popular venue, Zone 6 and redeem himself following his not so great performance.

Lucasraps revealed that the bad performance drives him to strive to always do well on the stage. “I remember, I performed at Zone 6 and this is why I want to like kill performances, especially Zone 6. One day Zone 6 will know me,” he shared before explaining why he wants to redeem himself on the popular stage. Lucasraps explained that he performed at one of DJ Maphorisa’s popular amapiano shows and the crowd was just not feeling his set.

“Vinyl was supposed to go first but then they switched it around, they told me to go first. So I was like alright cool, so I hop on stage. Bear in mind, there’s a lot of people and it’s like not really the hip hop crowd, cause it’s Mlindo. So I’m doing my thing, people are not moving, people are moving a little bit but not moving. Then like, I used to do this thing like after the song I freestyle, like the DJ cuts the song and I freestyle. So I don’t know what the Dj did that night. Dog, was doing some other cut thing but it wasn’t working because I’m not freestyling, the song I’m freestyling, you get me so it’s not adding up with the lyrics. So the crowd looks at me and then the one section just said boo”.

Lucasraps went on to add that after the first section went boo, the whole crowd caught on. The rapper then went on to share that he made the decision to then get off the stage. “I looked dawg, Porry, Stillo everyone is here. I looked at Porry and he looked back. I said thank you bowed down got off the stage.” Lucasraps shared that once he got back to his section, Stilo then gave him a bottle, which was much needed after the not so great performance. Lucasraps has since gone on to redeem himself and is known for his energetic performances that get the crowd going.
