Cassper Nyovest and Khuli Chana go back a long way, the two rappers have an incredible history together and it started even before the two made it to the SA Hip Hop main stage. The two rappers have collaborated on music together and have each other’s backs. Khuli Chana and Cassper meet over 10 years ago and have both because mega Hip Hop stars in the country.

Throwback pictures are a great way for people to step back into time and look back at the memories. Motswako rappers Khuli Chana and Cassper recently found themselves reflecting on how far they have come in life. This came after Khuli shared a picture they took when they first met. Cassper when he saw the throwback picture shared a little history about the encounter. The picture was taken at a gig that they both performed at. Cassper revealed that they were both performing at JR’s album launch and they were both opening acts. “We were both opening acts for Jr this night cause it was his album launch at Catwalk in Fourways,” revealed Cassper.

The meeting of the two rappers must have been fate, especially, considering how things turned out for both of them. Cassper even said in his caption, they shining and they definitely are. Both rappers have gone on to collect accolades that show how their hard work has paid off. Cassper is working hard on becoming a billionaire and this year alone, he has several shiny deals, from presenting TV shows to releasing his own alcohol brand. Cassper also spoke on how Khuli was just beginning in his career and even noted the song he had out at the time. “This picture was taken just before Khuli Chana blew up as a solo act. This is before Tswakstickm. All he had has was futhumatsa the party,” wrote Cassper.

Khuli and Cassper are SA Hip Hop who have both dropped amapiano music and are having fun with the dance genre. This is not the first time, Khuli is sharing the throwback picture, a few years ago he shared it and reflected on how shy Cassper was. Khuli shared that Cassper may have been shy but on stage, he was a totally different person. “12 years ago I met @casspernyovest in Maftown at a gig, dude had a low self esteem but when he got on stage he became a BEAST,” shared Khuli at the time.
