SAMA’s Finally Accept Reason’s Digital Album!
SAMA’s Finally Accept Reason’s Digital Album! On Monday we saw Reason blowing of steam on Twitter because apparently his album “Love Girls” had been denied for the SAMA’s.
As it turns out, it was just a misunderstanding between the SAMA’s and Reason. Reason had submitted his album titled “Love Girls” for nomination at the SAMA’s and they had rejected it because it has no physical copies.
“So YES!!! #LoveGirlsAlbum is good to enter #TheSama24 this year!!! Thanks to @TheSAMAs for clearing this up. I won’t lie. I was touched at the reality of you not recognising strictly digital releases in THIS day and age. Thanks to everybody that RTd!!” tweeted Reason expressing his joy at the acceptance of the project.
The rapper was excited when the matter was cleared up. “Bad News: To avoid confusing the older/tech-challenged judges, they require 10 copies of the entry per category for JUDGING Purposes,” tweeted Reason.
Ok. Sooooo. @TheSAMAs have gotten back to us with what seems to be bad case of misinformation.
To all musicians and record labels interested in entering a strictly digital release for the first time… listen up! pic.twitter.com/aWSZuGCdAR
