Award-winning rapper Cassper takes over the hosting reigns from his rival AKA. The Braai Show with Cass debuts on screens on September 8 and fans of been patiently waiting for the show’s TV debut since the announcement it would be on screens.

Cassper on The Braai Show will be joined by several guests that are some of Mzansi favourite personalities. On the show, Cassper will interview the guests over a good old fashion braai. The first guest for the show has been revealed to be former Miss SA and Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi. Cassper is no stranger to Zozibini the two personalities are both Samsung brand ambassadors. The rapper even once shared that Zozibini was his crush and is known to have a soft spot for the beauty queen.

Zozibini will not be the only guest that will be on the talk show. Cassper will be joined by singer Makhadzi, who recently worked with the rapper on her new album. Content creator Mihlali Ndamase will also be on the show. Media personality Somizi will also be on the show, this will no be Somizi’s first time as a guest on the show, he was on the first season with AKA. The River actor Presley Chweneyagae will also be a guest show. News of the guests was broken by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela on Twitter.

Cassper has been very excited about his new journey as a presenter and has told his fans that he will be doing things his own way as he tackles the world of presenting. The rapper is not only a presenter on the show but also an executive producer on the show. Cassper shared during his interview with Banques and Venom on YouTube how he negotiated a contract that met his needs after producers were not able to offer him the amount he wanted on the show. . “I’m an executive producer on the show! The Braai Show has not been without controversy, following the announcement that Cassper would be taking over the show, a legal battle between AKA and production companies CakeMedia and Makhudu Com. The legal battle saw the parties head to court over the show, the matter was later withdrawn from the court as the parties opted to settle out of court. According to reports, negotiations failed after they were unable to reach an agreement, AKA was reportedly offered an amount but declined it.
