DJ Speedsta Reacts To Finally Being Able To Correct Nota
DJ Speedsta Reacts To Finally Being Able To Correct Nota. When it comes to Nota Baloyi it has become know that a person must come correct and when debating with him, you should have all your facts in order. The outspoken personality has become known for speaking his mind and not being bothered with who gets offended in the process. Nota recently shared a post on Instagram, where he praised SA Hip Hop DJ Sliqe latest single, Intentions featuring Blxckie. In his post, Nota claimed that Sliqe was the first SA Hip Hop DJ to reach Gold and Platinum status.
SA Hip Hop DJ, DJ Speedsta caught wind of Nota’s claims and had to pull up on his comment section and provide some corrections to Nota statement. It’s not every day someone gets to correct Nota after all. This is something DJ Speedsta also noted after a tweep asked him on Twitter if he is not the first Hip Hop DJ to go Gold and Platinum. Speedsta responded to the tweep and said, indeed he is the first and also remarked that he broke this down for Nota. The popular DJ also added that Nota used to roast him for not doing his research when he was a host on the POPcast, so having wheels turned around is pretty interesting.
“Finally I get to correct Nota. Man’s used to roast me for not doing research on the Popcast,” wrote DJ Speedsta. The award-winning DJ also added that in no way was his statement a jab at DJ Sliqe but he was just pointing out some facts. “I love Sliqe long time, he’s my brother,” wrote Speedsta. The Metro FM radio host https://samusicmag.co.za/2021/04/dj-speedsta-is-monster-energys-new-ambassador/explained to Nota on the original post, that if there is no plaque then the moment didn’t happen. Nota had claimed that DJ Sliqe’s track, Do Like I Do went Gold and Platinum before any other Hip Hop DJ’s track. “If there is no plaque then it didn’t happen”. Nota also agreed with Speedsta as he told him that he is not wrong though.
DJ Speedsta is definitely the man with the plaques when it comes to SA Hip Hop. In 2020 he shared how he reached a Mega milestone with three of his singles and his album being certified. Speedsta’s smash hit, Mayo, which was dropped in 2016, has been certified 9 times platinum. The SA Hip Hop anthem features Frank Casino, Shane Eagle, Yung Swiss and Tellaman. Speedsta’s album, Bottle rush Street has also reached platinum status. When Speedsta shared the post, initially he said that the moment was a first for a Hip Hop DJ in South Ah.
