Emtee Refuses To Unite With “Other” Rappers & Turns Down Assistant

Emtee may be going through a challenging stage in his life but he is keeping his pride and ego intact.

Late last year news emerged that rapper Mthembeni Ndevu popularly known as Emtee wasn’t pleased with his record Ambitiouz Entertainment and wanted out. His outcry received a lot of attention from social media users but no changes were made on his part. The star made the same expression this year making it clear that he wanted to leave AE but was held up by the boss. City Press reported that he allegedly owed millions to the label hence the hold up on his departure.

“Ambitiouz owner Kgosi Mahumapelo doesn’t want me to leave, but it isn’t up to him and I made it clear that I want a new start. If I do things the right way, I believe that it will be resolved. I still wanna make music. I have been through the most and I am unbreakable. I am not angry or mad. I will get through this.” Said the Roll Up hitmaker.

Reason revealed on a tweet last month that he and other rappers were willing and ready to help Emtee.

“It warms my heart to find myself constantly in conversations with fellow musicians who want to get involved in helping @emteethehustla_ in one way or another.

Saving Emtees career, is actually saving his Children and Family’s future. More so, we would be saving a REAL TALENT,” wrote Reason.

Cassper who is his rival spoke about unity of SA hip hop – although there was no telling if he was part of the rappers who were out to help him but the Manando hitmaker slammed the unity talk.

“Niggas laughed at me and made a Poes outta me, now there’s “unity” talks!? I ain’t with dat. I don’t need to unite with nobody cos I ain’t pushed nobody away,” wrote Emtee.
