New Music! Here Are The Latest SA Hip Hop Drops. It’s been another exciting week for SA Hip Hop as the artists have been busy cooking and the results are evident with the new music releases. Its’ also an exciting week for SA Hip Hop as Cassper Nyovest is also back with a hot Hip Hop release. Not only are the OG’s dropping new music, but the new wave Hip Hop artists are also represented among the new music releases. There is certainly a flavour for any kind of SA Hip Hop fan this week. There is also a release from presenter Jub Jub as well, Jub Jub has been making his way back into the music scene, this is his first release in 2021.
Cassper has not only dropped his own new music, Pressure, he also teamed up with new wave, rap duo, Majorsteez, with who he collaborated on their track called, Asbonge. Cassper did say he would be working with one of the new kids on a track and it seems he went with the duo. The Hip Hop track certainly has a balance to it as does have the log drum beat, which has become popular in the amapiano genre but it also has a strong Hip Hop element. Cassper on his track, Pressure gets things off his chest and adds a little pressure to the game with the return of his presence in the game.
Cape Crusader YoungstaCPT who has been very generous with the verses of late has finally dropped his first release of 2021, called Flambae. For the track, YoungstaCPT featured Nashiefah. YoungstaCPT had hinted that he is working on a summer jam and he certainly has delivered. The wordsmith certainly did not hold the romance back on the feel-good song. He has also dropped the visuals for his new banger making sure fans can get the full experience. “Flambae is a good old fashioned love song inspired by classic R&B and hip hop ballads from J-Lo with Fat Joe or Fat Joe with Ashanti & Ja Rule, or who could forget ‘Dilemma’ by Nelly & Kelly Rowland so I felt I wanted to bring that feeling back to the modern era, with South African dance tempo to accompany it. Everybody loves singing about love…” YoungstaCPT remarked about the song.
Rapper Ecco The Best has dropped a full project for his fans to enjoy. He has been working on the album, called Beauty and The Beast for a while now so the release is something fans have been eagerly waiting for. Producer and artist Flvme has had nothing but praise for his Ecco’s project, even going as far as dubbing it the album of the year, but time will only be the judge of that.
