Award-winning musician Sjava dropped the EP in December 2020. This was Sjava’s first project released as an independent artist, following his departure from his former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment. The release of the project was an indication that where ever Sjava goes, his supporters will follow him. Within days of the EP’s release, it collected a million streams across all digital platforms.

Sjava’s Umsebenzi EP has now reached a new milestone and the rapper is celebrating the moment with his fans. Sjava took to social media to share the good news and shared pictures of himself with his new plaques. Sjava also shared with his followers that in celebration of the milestone, he is dropping a deluxe version of the EP, with five new added songs. The Umsebenzi EP initially had 4 tracks and now 9 in total. The EP features songs that are true to Sjava’s style of storytelling with lyrics that inspire and offer words of encouragement.

When it comes to streaming numbers, Sjava is quite the maestro, when it comes to that department. He recently was announced as being one of the most streamed artists on Apple Music. He also has one of the most albums of all time, on the streaming platform since the streaming platform was launched six years ago.

The award-winning musician sure creates timeless music for his fans and has become well known for his songwriting that touches his supporters. Sjava recently revealed that he has been writing music for close to 30 years and shared what inspires him to keep going.
