Emtee Makes Bold Career Announcement For 2024. In 2023 SA Hip Hop witnessed a surge in music release with most rappers coming out with powerful music projects. Emtee was amongst them who were supposed to release an album last year in DIY 3 but the rapper fell short of fulfilling his promise.
However, with a new year that has somewhat high expectations for SA rappers, Emtee has upped the ante and made a bold statement stating that in 2024 he is no longer a local artist nor is he an underground artist. “In 2024 I’m no longer a local artist. I was never an underground artist either,” wrote Emtee.
With DIY 3 still not yet released, all eyes are on the Roll Up hitmaker to drop the album that he has promised his fans for some time now. Even though the rapper is taking his time to drop the long-awaited album, there has been a lot of work being done at Emtee Records behind the scenes.
Wrapping up the year 2023, the Hustler concluded on a triumphant note by revealing new talents joining his record label. The father of three introduced Yungseruno and Lawdluv as the latest additions to the Emtee Records roster.
