Stogie T Addresses His Fracas With Nota In New Single. It seems a statement was not enough for Stogie T to express his thoughts about his recent encounter with Nota Baloyi at a recent event in Johannesburg. The rapper has now expressed his thoughts about his fracas with Nota in his latest song, Mama Say. Stogie T has dropped a new Hip Hop banger in celebration of his return to music and his new partnership with Def Jam Recording Africa. The rapper shared the lyrics of his new song on his Instagram page and lines such as, “was ready to put a dental plate on freckle face,” seems to be directed at his incident with Nota.

Nota after his altercation went Live on Instagram and made sure that his side of the story was well known. Nota also posted several Instagram posts addressing the incident. Nota is said to have approached Stogie T after he heard that the rapper was looking for him. On the hook, Stogie drops a few lines that could be taken as a response. “Momma say knock ’em. We don’t entertain thoughts of doubt. When the dogs come out Now they wanna talk it out. Don’t know what we got to talk about.”

Stogie T in his statement had issued an apology to his church and the rapper in Mama Says touched on his faith helping restrain him during his fracas with Nota. “And Heard the lord say retain your grace”. On the track Stogie also reiterates, his now-deleted Instagram post’s caption of running to blogs as he raps “run to the blogs” and also speaks of clout chasing. Stogie T is moving past all the drama he recently faced and his new single show just how motivated he is to return to the music. On Mama Say, Stogie comes through with the flawless delivery and infectious lyrics.

Stogie is not the only SA Hip Hop artist who has dropped a dope rap banger. Nasty C’s official DJ, Audiomarc has teamed up with Blxckie and Nasty C to drop a fresh Hip Hop banger that has both rappers killing their verses as they question, “Why Me”. Nasty C and Blxckie have proven that they know how to create a hit song. Nasty C collaborated with Blxckie on his smash hit, Ye x4, which has gone on to get streaming records.
