Cassper Shares How He Feels About The #SAHHA2021 ‘Artist Of The Decade’ Nominees

Cassper Shares How He Feels About The #SAHHA2021 ‘Artist Of The Decade Nominees’. The nominations for this year’s South African Hip Hop Awards have been unveiled, and while a few choices raised some questions, the nominees in the Artist of the Decade category prompted the most discussion on the TL. Tweeps have been chiming in with their opinions and congratulating the nominees whilst others have been pouring criticism.

The crucial debate is niggling on the #SAHHA2021 Artist of The Decade Award. Some South African Hip hop followers do not believe or agree with some artists taking a nod for the nominations. An Instagram user made a comment on Cassper Nyovest‘s post highlighting that most of the artists on the category do not deserve to be there. “Some rappers on that list haven’t been around for a decade.”

However, just to put things into perspectives so that people are not blinded with who deserved to be nominated on the category, Cassper Nyovest went on and encourage people to vote at the same time expressing how he feels about the nominees. The rapper replied to the said twitter comment encouraging people to vote so that history is not misinterpreted. “That’s why we need to vote so history isn’t distorted.” Cass replied.

Cassper has managed to secure three nominees for the upcoming SA Hip Hop Awards. The Tito Mboweni chanter will be aiming to garner the Song of The Year Award, Best Collabo and Artist of The Decade Award. And its very clear why he has been encouraging his followers to vote.

Cass has enjoyed the bliss that comes with winning the prestigious Hip Hop Awards in Mzansi. During the previous Hip Hop Awards ceremony Cassper Nyovest won Best Male, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for his song Good for That from his album Any Minute Now. This time around he will be aiming to do it big with the Artist of The Decade Award up for grabs.
