Cassper Explains Why Debut Albums Of Rappers Are Always Great Compared To Others That Follow. As a hip hop fan who have been following up on the music of rappers, would you say their first albums were better than the rest that followed?

A fan of the genre posed that question which Cassper was more than willing to answer. The tweep asked why the first albums of rappers slap harder than the ones they release after. It was a question of interest that had most people come up with their own views.

Mufasa laid it down from experience that the first album is pre-planned mentally for a very long time, it’s not done under pressure or to meet certain standards it’s the raw work you’ve envisioned and invested in for too long.

“Time, your first album is made or planned in your head for about 10 years, everything after that is made in few months. The other thing is fear, the first album is made from a fearless point of view, everything after that is tryna maintain or not fall off,” he wrote.

Cassper has dropped 4 albums, the debut was titled Tsholofelo followed by Refiloe, Thuto and Sweet and Short.
