Reason Celebrates Bagging His First Movie Role. Reason, a heavyweight rapper, had people talking when he decided to try his hand at amapiano under the guise Sizwe Alakine. In July, the rapper released Khanda Shisa, a song co-written by DJ Maphorisa. Ever since he made toungues wagging on his new identity venturing into Amapiano it seems like Reason got things going well for him.

The “Do It Like i Can” chanter took to twitter announcing that he got his first movie role. Even though the details of the movie are not yet available, this is something worth celebrating. “JUST GOT MY FIRST MOVIE ROLE” Reason tweeted.

Reason’s tweet got many of his followers celebrating with him this wonderful news. Khuli Chano was one of the people who had to share their sentiments towards Reason’s success. The “Nomore Hunger” chanter replied to the tweet with some crying emojis. This clearly shows what it means not only to Reason, but to the music community as a whole.

Reason has some exciting music projects in the works, including Sizwe Alakine, which will be made available very soon. In addition, the rapper promised an amapiano single starring Young Stunna and Mellow and Sleazy, a Pretoria-based combo. The song that they are working on is called Ujola Nobani.

Its just the perfect timing for Reason to secure this movie role whilst in the midst of working on his single Ujola Nobani.

Since 2005, when the artist began making music, he has been on a meteoric rise. After releasing successful songs like Breathe, he rose to prominence in the hip hop scene. The artist has also worked with a number of well-known performers in the music game making himself a well-decorated artist who had the potential of making it big.
