The hip hop artist has been progressively gathering music for his studio LP ahead of his upcoming effort. And maybe its only a matter of time before we witness The Eagle flying high beyond expectation and taking SA Hip hop to a global stage. The rapper has indicated that he has plans to work with the US rapper J Cole. “Can’t wait till I work wit @JColeNC.” Tweeted Shane Eagle.

Shane Eagle has been a great figure in the Mzansi hip hop game. This is not the first time that the rapper has given hints on blowing up the hip hop space in Africa. In light of all of his accomplishments since breaking into the hip hop scene, the rapper has stated that he feels like he’s doing all the proper things. “Winning the SAMA for me just made me understand that what I’m doing is working for me. We didn’t do it for the accolades, we already knew that we had was special. We didn’t really need an organization to say “okay, you have the best album”. He said during an interview with YFM.
