Sjava shared a picture of Emtee along with the categories he has been nominated for. Even though Emtee has left Ambitiouz Record Label where he made some hit songs with likes of Sjava, he has not turned away to show respect to the Ngempela hit maker the respect he deserve. Emtee, has opened up about how difficult life was before he became famous, thanking Sjava and Ruff for their contributions to his hip hop career.

Emtee remembered on a period when he was homeless and still hustling, and his life began to come into order with the support of Sjava and Ruff. “I was once homeless Sjava and Ruff said come to the studio. It was up from there.” “I had Nobody. My parents are in Matatiele. I only had Lebo who would sneak me into his crib while his mom was sleeping jus so I can lay down.
