Rouge Takes Legal Action Against Reckless Festival After A Contractual Dispute. Following the recent dissolution of their event partnership, Rapper Rouge has filed a lawsuit against the Reckless Festival organizers for unpaid contractual payments and damages.
The dispute revolves around a December event organized by Reckless Festival and Rouge’s Tribe Nation. Tribe Nation allegedly failed to sign and honor their contractual obligations, according to a statement made by the festival event organizers.
“We are not at fault for the events that succeeded as Tribe Nation failed to sign contracts and honour agreements that were set beforehand.
“Promoters were denied access to the venue and the VIP section. Upcoming artists were denied opportunities to perform. Performers were forcefully ejected from the stage and told to settle in the general section,” it argued.
Rouge did not take time to respond to such claims as she decided to leave the matter into the hand of her legal team. The rapper posted on her Instagram page the letter of demands coming from her legal team, accusing the festival organizers of being deceptive.
“In light of all the statements and dishonesty made by @recklessfestival I have since engaged my attorneys to take over the matter and I will not be making any /statements regarding this issue. The letter from my attorneys has since been sent to hood and will be delivered to Melo, Kevin and the rest of the team with a sheriff present.” She wrote.
The rapper went on and revealed that the event organizers have been stealing people’s money for quite a number of years. She mentioned on her Instagram page that she is willing to assist everyone who have not been remunerated by Reckless Festival alluding that these people are not fit to organize any festival event.
“So @recklessfestival had stolen thousands from people and I just found out they have been doing this for years. If you have worked with this festival and were not Remunerated please do let me know.”
“These kids should not be running any event. The people who built their Stages made sure they had sound werent paid a sent,gave them there vips Seating, working hours on end that day, not even the poor artists who gave them the show recieved payment.”
