A-Reece Shares His Excitement Opening For Blxckie On His Botswana Tour. The SA hip hop stans might have pitted A-Reece and Blxckie against each other but the two have paid no attention to any of the comparisons. The rising hip hop star Blxckie has been making waves in the game after his debut album B4Now has been heavily embraced.

Blxckie has been doing the B4Now album tour featuring other rappers in Mzansi. This time around Somnyama has brought A-Reece as the main act for his album tour in Botswana. A-Reece shared the development on his Instagram story expressing his excitement about opening for Bxlckie on his album tour. “Been two years & some change since I’ve been to Botswana. I’m ecstatic that I’ll be back this Sunday opening for the illest young bull, @blxckie. Chaos when we land.” Wrote A-Reece.

Blxckie has enjoyed an incredible two years in the hip hop game under unusual conditions due to the lockdown restrictions and being stuck in Joburg. With all odds against him, the rapper could not stop dropping music on a daily basis working with the likes of Lucasraps and Yungseruno.

“It gave me the time I needed to really zone in on making music,” he said during an interview with Breakroom Africa’s Jade Kelly.

“And it is what finally pushed me to abandon everything else and just really do it. “I spent those three weeks with Lucasraps, 808Sallie, Shouldyuang, and Yungseruno and we really just dropped music on Soundcloud every day. It was like a little experiment and people went crazy for it,” said Bxlckie.

Now that the Durban rapper got A-Reece to perform on his album tour, should we be expecting to see the two rappers in the studio together? It’s all up to them to decide.
