Nasty C Explains What Inspired His New Song, “Stalling.” Nasty C’s new love song Stalling has been making waves days before Valentine’s Day. The opening lines from the Spanky Daddy’s new track is a clear reflection that the rapper was taken aback by the relationship heartbreaks he has endured in the past.
Nasty C had to pour it all out in the song whilst his love interest was stalling. “You can just leave if you wanna leave, If you don’t wanna go the whole way there with me then goodbye, said Nasty in his lyrics. The song has left the hip hop space with many questions than answers on what inspired the song.
During an Instagram Live video that emerged from the Mzansi A-Lister YouTube channel, the Hell Naw rapper took time to explain the lyrics that mostly inspired his new song. Nasty C explained that the lyrics of the song are mainly aimed at a girl who is only in a relationship for her own benefit and not considering the feelings of her partner.
“If you ain’t feeling what I’m feeling, then you must be numb If we ain’t real to one another, then we must be dumb I think your real-life just begun, yeah,” he said in his lyrics.
The rapper explained the lyrics saying; “you are talking to like a girl that is maybe just like with you just for the hype and just to be seen around and get the clout and whatnot so you’re just really just like you’re setting her whole image up, you are not even a partner type you’re just contributing to her whole her skit,” he said.
Nasty C further detailed that having someone like that will make you confront them and make them realise that committing in a relationship is real life and not something to play around with. “It’s like waking somebody like that you know and make them realize yo this is real life you are playing with a real person’s heart here so it’s like wake up,” he said.
The rapper further confirmed that he is also working on a new album. He mentioned that he has been working on different ideas and he is still figuring out the title for his upcoming album. “Have a couple of options though like I’ve been playing around with a couple (of) ideas,” he said.
“I have a general theme for the album, I have a feel for the album what I would like to, I’m trying to do something different you know.”
“It’s not gonna be like a huge shocker, it’s not going to make people go away but it’s like it’s gonna be very different.” Revealed Nasty C.
