OKmalumkoolkat Breaks His Silence Following The Passing Away Of Riky Rick. The passing away of Boss Zonke has made the SA rappers reflect on a lot of things including the issues they could’ve solved in the hip hop game before the passing tragic passing of Riky.

Boyz n Buckz was once a force to be reckoned with and one of the most well-known crews in the South African hip hop scene. The separation of the crew and the relationship of Riky Rick and Okmalumkoolkat was brought into question.

The passing away of Boss Zonke has made the Amalobolo hitmaker disclose the impact Boss Zonke had on the formation of Boyz n Bucks and his relationship with the late rapper. Taking to Instagram, OKmalumkoolkat detailed how he met Riky and how the two came up with ideas to form one of the best crew in SA hip hop.

 “Something beautiful happened when I met Rikhado around 2010, around the same time that our whole @boyznbucks crew was forming.” He wrote. He further expanded how the two rappers managed to come together with their ideas to form one of the best crews ever witnessed in the Mzansi rap game.

“When we met I could feel that he felt at home around us and also saw a brighter future with the fresh angles we were coming with in the game. I was already making merch and performing New Age Kwaito tracks as Dirty Paraffin at the time.” He wrote.

Even though they had their own differences with Riky Rick Okmalumkoolkat admitted he wished things were different so that they could iron out their issues with the late rapper. “Like broers, we had our ups and downs, in fact, there is a lot I wish we had discussed and went past but now it’s only through prayer,” wrote Okmalumkoolkat.
