Rick Ross Discloses The Subject He Was Never Able To Understand In School. Rick Ross has posed a huge influence in the hip hop game with an exceptional catalogue to his name. Despite the excellent bars and flows that most people have known him for, The Boss has revealed his unknown childhood struggles.

Rick Ross disclosed that he struggled with Maths in school and he is yet to master the subject. In an interview with Afrotech, the Miami rapper acknowledged he was bad at multiplication and tried to hide the fact that he didn’t know the answers.

“I was a comedian, I had a good sense of humour,” he shared. “I was the funny dude and all that. And I don’t think just because I naturally wanted to be the jackass, but I didn’t know the answers to the questions and all the stuff (the teachers was) writing on the wall. And that might’ve been my way to cover that up because I never understood, I never learned my multiplication, still to this day.” Said The Boss.

So when it came time to master pre-algebra, Ross stated he was stumped and needed to find another skill he was strong at.

“So imagine, when they began going into pre-algebra, A equals E, that shit was like a whole other language to me, I just wanted to walk out of the goddamn…’What are you talking about? A equals E? What is this?’” he recalled. “So, I knew right then, while I was sitting in the math class, I wanted to learn to be a great speaker. So that’s what made me become a writer. And I think that’s why I’m an author now.”

Rick Ross might not have mastered multiplication during his time in school but he has mastered Maths along the way. The rapper has ventured into numerous businesses through his Wingstop franchises accompanied by other business deals. Mathematics aside, how can you be The Boss if you don’t know how to deal with numbers?
