Rouge Fires Back At Claims That Her Hip Hop Career Is Falling Off. Rouge has been out of the hip hop game for a while now. It’s clear that her fans are anticipating something fresh from the Dololo hitmaker since she carries an exceptional catalogue to her name. The rapper has bagged great collaborations with big names in SA hip hop, sharing the studio with the likes of AKA, Big Star Johnson and others.
Even though the rapper has spent significant time out of the hip hop scenes, what she has offered to the game cannot be taken away. Recently, Rouge shared that she is not pleased with claims being made about her hip hop career. The rapper took to Twitter and aired her frustrations towards people not wanting to see her succeed, at the same time not appreciating what she has done for the culture.
“It’s insane how many people don’t want to see me succeed. Complete strangers. Telling me I’m Falling off. No boo I just haven’t dropped difference, and even when I was dropping you acting like you gave me the cred I deserved. But if I was scandalous or nude the you would gas me,” she wrote.
Outside of her music career, Rouge‘s life has not been all rosy. The rapper once shared pictures of her face massively swollen with her eyes partly covered. She eventually advised her followers not to pop their pimples. “Gross Pic alert lol When I literally died cause of a pimple 4 years ago… God I’ve come a long way. FYI DONT POP IN THE V ZONE ON YOUR FACE TO AVOID MENINGITIS,” she wrote.
