Venom X Shishiliza (Bash Vision) Release ‘Sondela.’ Teasing new music before releasing day is becoming a norm in the SA rap game. Venom and Shishiliza have finally released their new single and first 2022 offering, ‘Sondela,’ after teasing it last week.
Taking to Twitter, Venom confirmed the release of the love song just in time when everyone is celebrating love on Valentine’s Day. “14-02-22 We Present To You #Sondela With Love ❤️ Happy Valentine’s day?,” tweeted Venom.
The song comes with a very good combination of SA hip hop artists, with the likes of Riky Rick, Blxckie, Raspy, Tshego and Yumbs collaborating to create what could be considered a love song. Musically, the song conveys some amapiano elegance with affectionate lyrics, making it ideal not only for Valentine’s Day mojo but also dance atmosphere.
The combined effect of the artists involved in the song does not perceive too much or daunting, which is an emotion that can be conveyed when many people are engaged, but rather everybody gives something fresh and lovely to the table.
Venom and Shishiliza have worked together last year on the making of ShoBoy. The release of ‘Sondela’ is evident that the artists are vying for a massive collaborative project. It’s only a matter of time before we start witnessing more songs coming from the hip hop duo.
