AKA Makes A Confession About Having Suicidal Thoughts. In an unreleased song, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes made alarming admissions concerning his mental health and SABC1’s The Braai Show.

Taking to Twitter AKA shared a snippet of an unreleased song in which he raps about being suicidal in 2021, as well as revealing the late Riky Rick turned down the invitation to host The Braai Show. AKA went on to say that he was broke at the time and that the SABC had previously promised him prospects on the channel.

“Shout out to Makhado, principles, morals, they said come host The Braai Show, he said NO WAYS! Around the time that I was suicidal. The narrative was Supa Mega doesn’t have bread.” Says AKA in his lyrics.

The SABC went on and Premiered Season 2 of The Braai with AKA’s rival Cassper Nyovest becoming the new host of the show. This led to tongues wagging after AKA initiated legal proceedings over his rights to the show.

According to court documents revealed at the time, AKA had withdrawn from the show to deal with personal issues, but Cassper insisted that the rapper had no ownership of The Braai Show. With the recent court ruling, The SuperMega had the last laugh after the court ruled that he owned 50% ownership rights of the show.
