Big Xhosa Writes A Cheeky Apology Letter To SA Hip Hop
Big Xhosa Writes A Cheeky Apology Letter To SA Hip Hop. He says Nasty C utilizes too much English in his raps, Cassper Nyovest has a goat beat, and Kwesta is the skinny version of Rick Ross. He claims that all South African hip-hop rappers should pick up their socks. All of this was referenced in a diss rap that went viral across the country.
Big Xhosa revealed that he has come to revive SA hip hop which he believes is now a dead genre. The rapper also went on and released a doctored Sway In The Morning video where he was rapping and addressing the state of SA hip hop.
Along the process to kickstart his hip-hop game, the rapper has become an enemy of many artists in the game. His negative utterances towards other rappers in SA hip hop have not done him any favor. Just as everyone thought that the Inyile muso is now owning up to his mistakes with an apology letter to SA hip hop, the rapper’s letter sounded to be more cheeky and not serious enough to address the serious issues he has caused.
In the letter, Big Xhosa apologized for the diss track he released that has propelled artists like Ghost Hlubi to release a diss track aimed at Lucasraps and other artists. “I’m so sorry that I popped off a diss song dissing everybody now every upcoming artist is dissing y’all to get recognition,” says the letter. “I’m sorry for the recently weak as* Ghost Hlubi diss songs it’s my fault. I apologize. These are my children and want to be like their father.”
Big Xhosa has not been in good books with many artists in SA hip hop. Despite that, he has received his flowers from Gigi Lamayne who believes that the Amasende muso is quite an entertainer and something the genre really needs.
