The Lesotho born rapper became the first SA rapper to release an album this year that gained most of his followers’ attention. Hip Hip Pantsula was his major inspiration and role model. His aim is to reach out to the public in the same way that his idol did.

During the SlikourOnLife Backyard Session interview, the rapper described how his music sounds the same as that of HHP and what made him connect with the veteran late rapper. “The way he created his music, like its dope and simple at the same time which is what I do,” he said.

Malome Vector further explained that he doesn’t like hardcore rapping rather he likes to create soft rapping music like HHP. “I don’t like to write like a tough bar or something, I create like simple music with nice melodies, if you can listen to HHP’s music he has that feeling, simple it’s like it’s just talking but its rapping, singing,” he mentioned.

The rapper is definitely living his ambition by recording music for an entertainment record company while also reaping the financial rewards that come with working in the entertainment industry. His body of work Karabo which took two years to complete featured the likes of Blaq Diamond, Intaba Yase Dubai, and Wave Rhyder, BET award-winner Sjava, Ubuntu band and Ntate Stunna.
