Speaking on an interview with MacG on Podcast and Chill, NOTA revealed that A-Reece and Nasty C don’t represent SA Hip hop. “Unless they both start truly representing South African hip hop they must both die. What I am saying is this, if you do not grow, be stagnant and stay with your cult following it sucks.” Said NOTA.

The music executive has recently praised Costa Titch for taking his advice for not being an American Wannabe when making his music. NOTA took to Twitter and slammed SA rappers who have refused to take his advice to save their music careers.

When I warned the American wannabe’s about ending their careers they should’ve begged for mercy but they chose to insult me. If NOTA’s not coming to save you then no one is coming to save you. It’s sad what’s become of SA Hip-hop. S/O @costatitchworld, he listened & now he wins!” Tweeted NOTA.

This is not the first time NOTA has criticized SA rappers whom he believes are not representing SA hip hop but are imitating the American culture in their raps. The music mogul recently took a swipe at Majorsteez after they shared a teaser of their unreleased song.

NOTA accused the duo of being addicted to making music that sounds like American. “Back to trapping? You guys should just flib burger because this is not it. Why are you so addicted to sounding American make me understand please?” Wrote NOTA.
