PdotO Reveals Why He Named His First Album “The Devil’z Playground”

The rapper’s first body of work named “The Devil’z Playground” made him garner more attraction in the rap game. During an interview on Perspective Podcast with Chad Da Don, the rapper disclosed the origin and the reason why he named his first album “The Devil’z Playground.”

My first album was called The Devil’z Playground, and people asked me why, I remember I had some push backs, because we were with Electro Mode they did the distribution, its like yo why are you calling the f*ck, this is South Africa this is too dark why?” he said.

He went on to explain why he had to pick that moniker for his first album, explaining that he did not want to change his approach. PdotO stated that his mother influenced the name of his first endeavor after describing Gauteng as an unpleasant location when he wanted to go there to study acting.

“I was like yo man I don’t want to change the name of my album, there is a reason why im calling this album The Devil’z Playground” he said. “And this name that my mother actually gave because when I was a kid I was telling my mom I want come to Gauteng just study acting she described the place as evil, that’s devil’s playground” he revealed.

PdotO has been working with Blaklez on the upcoming project Lost Diamonds 2 which will be made available soon. He has also worked with Chad Da Don on a joint EP “Matthew 22:14.”
