Tshego was signed under Cassper Nyovest‘s record label Family Tree before he decided to jump ship to sign a major deal with Universal Music. The Pink Panther has made waves ever since he signed for Universal music with his song No Ties topping the charts.

As per Tshego’s Instagram stories, as it stands things aren’t going well at Universal Music. The hip-hop artist has said that he is working on his final project with the label before calling it quits. “My next album is gona be random as** sh*t then I’m out. Universal doesn’t deserve me, shame,” he wrote.

Tshego has made it clear that he is a very ambitious artist who wants to control and manage his music. The rapper revealed that he always wants to wake up one day and manage his brand on his own and it looks like that’s the route he is considering since he is on the verge of cutting off his relationship with Universal Music.

“I wanted to control when I drop,” he said. “I wanted to control whether I get PR or marketing and how much I spend on this. I finally wanted someone to point a finger at. I wanted someone I can wake up in the morning and know that I can call that person ask them why hasn’t this been done. I wanted to actually like, ‘okay, it’s time to move, I need to hit these marks,’ but I needed people to be accountable to hit these marks. I can’t hit these marks alone.” He said during The Sobering interview.

For now, we wait for his new body of works he has promised to release wishing him the best for the future.
