Ambitiouz Entertainment Responds To Big Zulu & Intaba YaseDubai Imali Enengi Non Payment Drama

Ambitiouz Entertainment Responds To Big Zulu & Intaba YaseDubai Imali Enengi Drama  that started with Ntaba YaseDubai complaining that he has not received a cent from the hit song, a sentiment Big Zulu refuted stating that payments were made to Ambitiouz Entertainment were Ntaba YaseDubai is signed to by Electromode.

Here is what  Ambitiouz Records had to say;

Ambitiouz Entertainment hereby confirms that it has entered into a Music agreement with Inkabi Records which grands Ambitiouz Entertainment 25% Master Ownership of the song “Imali Eningi” by Big Zulu Featuring Intaba Yase Dubai and Riky Rick. Ambitiouz Entertainment received the first royalty statement a year after the song was released from Inkabi records and a total payment of R94 527,31 (ninety four thousand, five hundred and twenty seven rand, thirty four cents) has been paid to the label by Ingroove Electromode which distributes music on behalf of Inkabi records. The royalties were paid to Ambitiouz Entertainment in the following trenches;

1st Payment: 05th of Nov 2021 – R36 713,24

2nd Payment : 10th of Dec 2021 – R39 71 3,24

3rd Payment: 1lth of Feb 2022 – R21 100,83

Ambitiouz Entertainment have fulfilled its obligations and paid Intaba Yase Dubai his portion of the proceeds received from Inkabi Records as per the existing artist agreement between the label and Intaba Yase Dubai and confirms that no royalty payment is outstanding.

We would like to further state that all publishing income from the song is paid directly to Intaba Yase Dubai by South African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) and not by Ambitiouz Entertainment. Based of the fact that Imali Eningi was a very big song which generated tens of millions of streams, Ambitiouz entertainment believes that the song should have generated a significantly higher income than reported and therefore have contested the royalty report, requested supporting documents and hope to conduct an audit soon as provided for in the signed music agreement.
