Following their confirmation that they are involved in a romantic relationship, Nadia Nakai and AKA have been enjoying each other’s company as of late. Things took a nasty turn in their relationship after the rappers were reported to have been in a fight during their show in Ghana.

Tweeps were convinced that there is trouble in paradise after it was reported that the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram. This came after AKA posted a cryptic message on his Instagram stories. “I will never let another woman degrade me ever again.” AKA wrote.

During the Podcast And Chill session, the AKA and Nadia Nakai relationship debacle was brought into the conversation. MacG posed a question to his crew on what they think about the AKA and Nadia Nakai’s relationship. “What do you think about that relationship the AKA and Nadia one?” MacG asked.

MacG went on to say that the relationship between AKA and Nadia is strange and does not make sense to him. “To me, it’s weird man it makes no sense bro, to me it strikes me as one of those public stunts because when I watch them there is no chemistry bro,” he said.

Following their reported altercation, Nadia Nakai and AKA released a joint statement denying that the incident did not happen.

“We have received your enquiries relating to our trip to Accra (Ghana) this past weekend. What was a fun and beautiful working trip where we both had separate work engagements is now being turned into a public smear campaign. What we took to be light interactions with industry peers and associates has now been twisted by outsiders.

“Just to clear the air, there was not physical nor verbal altercation between us. We are fine and there’s no drama between us, we are basking in our individual success from this amazing trip,” read the statement.
