Tshego Drops His ‘Catalog’ Of Classic Songs As An Independent Artist. Everything has its own time under the sun and Tshego’s time under Universal Music might be coming to an end. The rapper recently said that he is working on his final Universal Music album, so it’s unclear whether he will stick to his guns.
Given that the masters of his music were not signed under his own imprint, the rapper appeared to be laughing all the way to the bank. Taking to Twitter, the Pink Pather hitmaker announced the release of his classic catalog signed under his imprint.
“AT MIDNIGHT I drop a capsule of 7 classics. It’s been over a year now since this music has been missing, but it wasn’t in vain. ALL MASTERS ARE NOW SAFELY SIGNED UNDER MY OWN IMPRINT (TWENTYFIVE/EIGHT). Thank you for the continued support❤EL PANTERA -.” Tweeted Tshego.
Tshego is one of the most talented and engaging singers, with a signature style and sound the hip hop star has enthralled many followers in Mzansi. Taking to Instagram, the Hennessy hitmaker revealed that Universal Music does not deserve him seeking his way to be an independent artist. “My next album is gona be random as** sh*t then I’m out. Universal doesn’t deserve me, shame,” he wrote.
It’s now to be seen if the rapper will drop an exclusive album as an independent artist. The rapper stated that one day he hopes to wake up and manage his own brand. “I wanted to control when I drop,” he said. “I wanted to control whether I get PR or marketing and how much I spend on this. I finally wanted someone to point a finger at. I wanted someone I can wake up in the morning and know that I can call that person ask them why hasn’t this been done” He said.
