Duncan Reveals How Much He Charges Per Word For A Feature. Making your greatest collaboration is very expensive and it’s not just about studio and production fees. In SA hip hop, guest verses have become a very profitable business. Some rappers freely share verses with collaborators, while others have exploited features as a way to get money.
Duncan is the latest South African rapper to come out and revealed how much he costs for a feature. Taking to Facebook, the Durban rapper added to the intrigue by revealing how much he charges per word for his rap verse. “Public Announcement: DUNCAN SKUVA now charges R1,700 per word for a feature. Thank you Good luck.” He wrote.
Duncan‘s latest collaboration came in January after he featured on Rashid Kay’s song “Klaimar 2.0.” The two rappers are well known for producing impressive sounds which have attracted quite a number of fans in the SA hip hop space.
With the feature charges that the rapper has put in place, it will be interesting to see who is going to call him up for music collaboration. Duncan’s lyrical prowess has made him one of the most hardcore rappers in South Ah and has managed to work with the likes of Rashid Kay, Zakwe and Kwesta.
