Okmalumkoolkat On Creating New Age Kwaito & People Recreating It! Okmalumkoolkat is one of the most influential Hip Hop artists in the SA Hip Hop industry constantly creating new sounds in today’s game.

The rapper was recently on JR’s Feel Good Live Sessions were he was asked about his inspirations on the game and how he started doing certain things like fashion. The rapper was asked how he felt about people taking a style he created (New age kwaito) and recreated it into something he did not mean for it to be.

“I think like when I was younger probably like 4 years, three years ago I was a bit bitter about it, but now I’m older so I kinda know a lot of stuff I do is for other people,” said Okmalumkoolkat responding to the question.
