Taking to Twitter, the World Is Your chanter kindly asked that fellow South African and billionaire Elon Musk take over and assist in resolving the ongoing electrical crisis. In a series of tweets, the rapper addressed the issue of stage 6 load shedding. He began by saying, “speaking of load shedding … STAGE 6!!!!!! OH MY GAAAAAD.”

AKA went on to express his thoughts on Eskom, stating that he feels an intermittent power supplier should be examined. He immediately tweeted Tesla CEO Elon Musk, pleading for him to assist the country.

“Excuse me sir … @elonmusk … I cannot for the life of me understand why the government hasn’t approached you to come help us out with this electricity crisis, but is there any chance you could perhaps do us a solid, you know, with you being born here and all,” tweeted AKA.

The father of one further went on and plead with the Billionaire to do it for his country, “Please @elonmusk I know you have a solution for load shedding … do it for your country ???? … your original one.” Wrote AKA.

Mzansi has been left in the dark after Eskom chief executive Andre de Ruyter announced that the country will plunge into a possible stage 6 load-shedding from Tuesday evening to Wednesday evening. He stated that the grid was under stress as some of its employees went on strike at power plants.

South Africans would be subjected to three or four rolling blackouts during stage 6 power outages, which would result in a minimum of six hours without electricity.
