Cassper Announces Collaboration With Nasty C

Cassper Announces Collaboration With Nasty C. Ever since the release of the Juice Back remix six years ago, Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C have not worked on any song together. The song rocked SA hip hop as it was also graced with vocals from Nigerian superstar Davido.

That was a significant endorsement for Nasty C at the time, and it cemented his status as one of the country’s hottest new singers. The young rapper went on and did another collaboration with Cassper on Jump alongside Anatii.

Nasty C has established himself as one of the region’s top rappers, while Cassper has continued to expand his big brand through not only music but also major commercial activities. Cassper and Nasty C have finally found each other again and SA hip hop fans should be on the look for a new song from the famed rappers.

Taking to Twitter, Cassper has made it known that he and Nasty C are releasing new music soon. “New Nasty x Cassper Nyovest onda way.” Tweeted Cassper.

The song could be from Nasty C’s upcoming project, which he hinted at on his recent Ivyson Army Tour across the country. The Ivyson Amry Tape consists of vocals from Emtee which Nasty C also shared on his Instagram page that prompted a reaction from Cassper Nyovest and other SA rappers. Did’s Cassper reaction led him to be included on the Ivyson Army Tape?

Cassper’s Manager also weighed in on the collaboration as he suggested that the two rappers should consider working on a full project together. “Y’all lock in for a full project assomblief. #AfricanThrone maybe?” He wrote.

Given that Cassper’s recent releases have primarily been amapiano and he’s been reticent to put out rap recordings recently, it’ll be intriguing to hear what sound the two rappers will choose. Nasty C, on the other hand, had made it clear that he would reject any requests to appear on an amapiano single. The Durban rapper announced that he is all about hip hop and nothing else.
