Despite receiving praises for his top-notch live performances, the Doc Shebeleza chanter did not name picked himself to be one of the best African acts. This came after one Twitter user revealed that no African artist comes close to Burna Boy when it comes to live performances. “Nobody in Africa comes close to Burna boy when it comes to stage performances!” Read the tweet.
In his response, Cassper mentioned that he would have loved to nominate himself but that P Square is the best live act and he left Burna Boy out of the discussion. “The rapper in me would like to say myself but I know I can’t outperform P squared. P squared in the best African act of our Time.” Tweeted Cassper.
In another tweet, Cassper Nyovest went on and made it clear that he has nothing against Burna Boy and warned tweeps not to drag him for picking P Square over Burna Boy. “Yall know I’m biggest Burna Boy fan. Don’t even try start rubbish.” Tweeted Cassper.
Burna Boy has not only been the best rapper in Nigeria but he has also played a significant role in SA hip hop. The Nigerian superstar has praised other SA rappers and Nasty C has been one of them. The African Giant mentioned that Nasty C is better than most US rappers and he would put his money on him.
“Nasty C is a rapper, just because he’s from Africa, you are going to see Afro beat – I put my money on Nasty C over almost any American rapper. No cap,” Burna Boy was quoted saying.
