Sjava Lands A Casting Role In A New Drama Series. Not only has he managed to entertain Mzansi with the best hip-hop songs but the Sjava has also graced the screens with his acting talent.

According to the Sowetan publication, the rapper will be amongst the acting cast in a new drama series Isifiso along with Melusi Yeni and Zinhle Mabena. The show, which premieres on July 4, also stars Nelisa Mchunu from Uzalo and Ntando Mncube from Durban Gen. Duduzile Ngcobo, Bandile Maphalala, and Nkosinathi Kheswa make up the supporting cast.

This is not the first time Sjava has made it to the acting cast. The rapper has made a name for himself through acting before he made it to SA hip hop. Sjava has featured on SABC 1 popular drama series Zone 14 and eHostela.

Sjava might not be famous for winning music awards but his name is also familiar at the SAFTAs after he was nominated for the role he played in Zone 14. The rapper has some of his images that surfaced on the internet during his acting days which made tongues wagging on the timeline.

The rapper has made it clear that he is totally a different person compared to the days he was acting in Zone 14. Sjava mentioned that it’s a subject that he doesn’t want to revisit since it’s all in the past.

Sjava explained why he doesn’t get ecstatic when reminded of his Zone 14 days in an interview from a few years ago, saying, “A lot has changed from who I was back then and who I am now. I’m a completely different person now, I’m no longer that person. As much as people can say, ‘I can never change’, life changes….”
